Content:
- An introduction to the National Innovations on Climate Resilient Agriculture (NICRA) programme with emphasis on livestock module; Vulnerability and risk assessment of climate change; Agrometeorological basis of climate change with a special perspective to livestock; Physiological basis of climate change in livestock; Climate change and Abiotic stress management in small ruminants; Fodder production models for improved livestock management; Sustainable nutrient management in livestock under changing climatic conditions; Precision livestock production in climate change perspective; Climate change and livestock: Gender Perspective; Contingency Plans for Livestock during extreme climatic events; Indicators of climate change in livestock production and management; Climate smart poultry production; Impact of climate change on livestock; Adaptation strategies for smallholder livestock production system; Emission from livestock sector and mitigation strategies; Innovations in agricultural extension and MANAGE initiatives
Methodology:
1. Course will be offered through online live sessions and the link will be sent to the participants e-mail 2. Selection of candidates: The participants will be selected as per the eligibility defined for the programme
3. Last Date for Applying online: 16 th August, 2021, 5:30 pm
4. Online examination: An online examination will be conducted on 21st August, 2021, 4:00-4:30 pm in which the participants has to respond 25 multiple choice questions through Google forms.
5. Issuing of certificate A digital certificate will be issued to the participants after fulfilling following criteria * Full time attendance * Minimum 40% score in online exam
6. Program Feedback: The participants have to rate each session as a feedback which will be incorporated through online mode
