Objectives of the training: - To acquaint participants with production, processing, product development, value addition and application technologies with agribusiness modules about natural resins and gums produced in the country.
Training Content: - Approaches in production/harvesting techniques of natural resins and gums (NRGs), Advancement in processing, product development and value addition of NRGs, Post harvest management and quality control for NRGs, Diversified industrial applications of NRGs and NRGs based entrepreneurship development and policy initiatives will be covered.
Methodology: - The Course will be offered through live online classes, presentations and live interactions. The content will be delivered using videos, power presentations and reading material and interaction through a suitable online platform based on the requirement.
To Whom: - The training is meant for scientists, researchers, academicians, extension officials working in State Government departments of Agriculture, Horticulture and Rural Development, Faculty of Agricultural Universities/KVKs and NGOs including students and others who are involved in production, processing, value addition and application development of natural resins and gums.
