GUIDELINES FOR POST DOCTORAL FELLOWSHIP

It is a temporary full time research position which may be offered for those who seek to choose research as a profession. Candidate with a PhD degree in appropriate disciplines and with consistently good academic record and research potential can apply.  The proposal should be innovative.

  1. Eligibility: 

A detailed research proposal has to be submitted along with the application. Proof of concept by way of preliminary work done is essential requirement for the applicants, which will be measured through their publications made in their SCI indexed journals. At least two letters of recommendation / reference from previous Principal Investigator / Chairman in case of freshers regarding the research capabilities and other attributes of the applicant must be submitted to the Dean, AC & RI, Madurai, directly by the referee in confidential letter. Candidates who obtained their doctoral degree from TNAU alone can apply for PDF.


  1. Duration: 

The duration of the fellowship will be for a period of 2 years.


  1. Financial Assistance :

The Post Doctoral Fellow will be paid with consolidated fellowship of Rs.40,000/-
per month.


  1. Leave 

Leave for maximum period of 12 days in a year in addition to public holidays may be taken by the Post Doctoral Fellow with the approval of the Project Director, Centre of Excellence in Innovations, AC & RI, TNAU, Madurai.


  1. Procedure for approval 

The applications received will be scrutinized by the screening committee. Later, the short listed candidates will be called to present the project proposal before the selection committee, constituted by University. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview. The decision of the Committee will be final.

TSPSC Recruitment 2022: Apply for Food Safety Officer Post, Salary Up to Rs. 1,15,270/-

Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC ), in its latest notification has announced several vacancies for the position of Food Safety Officer. 

Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) has invited online applications for the position of Food Safety Officer at the Telangana Institute of Preventive Medicine Public Health Laboratories & Food (Health) Administration. Eligible individuals can apply for the positions on the official website beginning July 29.

The deadline for submitting online applications is August 26 at 5:00 PM. The hall ticket will be available seven days before the examination. The examination (objective kind) will most likely take place in November.

Vacancy Details

Name of the Post- Food Safety Officer In the Institute of Preventive Medicine Public Health Laboratories & Food (Health) Administration

Pay Scale- Rs. 42,300- 1,15,270/-

Required Educational Qualification- 

  • A degree in Food Technology Dairy Technology Biotechnology Oil Technology Agricultural Science Veterinary Sciences or Bio-Chemistry Microbiology or Master’s Degree in Chemistry or Degree in Medicine from a recognized University. 

  • Any other equivalent / recognized qualification notified by the Central Government.

Age Limit-The candidates should possess a minimum of 18 years & Maximum of 44 years. 

  • Minimum Age (18 years): An Applicant should not be born after 01/07/2004.

  • Maximum Age (44 years): An applicant should not be born before 02/07/1978.

Fee: 

  • Application Processing Fee: Each applicant must pay Rs. 200/- (Rupees Two Hundred Only) towards Online Application Processing Fee. 

  • Examination Fee: The applicants have to pay RS. 80/- (Rupees Eighty Only) towards Examination Fee. 

However, 

  1. a) All unemployees are exempted from payment of examination fee, and 

  2. b) All Employees of any Government (Central / State / PSUs / Corporations / Other Government sectors) have to pay the prescribed examination fee.
